Brand Design Project
Steepful is a tea company that encourages mindfulness by reminding you to meditate while waiting for your tea to steep. Here are two package designs I made along with a justification for the brand and logo.
Commencement Ceremony Booklets
The 2023 IUP commencement ceremony booklet was a project I designed during my second year
as a student designer at MarCom at IUP. It was both challenging and enjoyable to create a unique design within strict brand guidelines.
Levity Design Work
Levity Brewing Co., a local brewery, entrusted me with the honor of designing their 8th-anniversary beer label. Collaborating closely with the printers, we implemented a gold foil for the prominent Paper airplane ‘8th’ logo at the center of the design,.
IUP Womens Basketball
While working at MarCom at IUP, I had the opportunity to propose a redesign of the Women’s IUP social media posts. These proposals would serve as guidelines for designers regarding the appearance and structure of the posts.
IUP printed Materials
This poster utilizes colored cubes to evoke the sensation of a filled calendar, symbolizing the bustling schedule of university life. Additionally, by incorporating the imagery of building blocks, it encourages students to envision themselves as architects of their own schedules.
These are two large projects I designed for IUP Marcom. Both were printed hundreds of times and sent to new and upcoming students interested in IUP. I’m super proud of the infographic on the buckslip, and how I organize data in a fun way.
Font Design Project
In school, I was able to create my own font and then create an illustration to incorporate it. "Automail" is a futuristic, blocky sans serif font that could be used for tons of sci-fi related projects. I'm really happy with how it turned out overall.
International Disaster Poster
As a class project, we were tasked with exploring type in an interesting way through making a poster. We had to choose a random company event and make a poster based on their design language. I found this Kentucky disaster relief volunteer event and wanted to try making a poster for it. It was fun to explore type and brand language in this way.
Coffee Shop Website
This is the design layout for a coffee shop website I coded for class. I love web design because it allows me to think about how the viewer will physically interact with my design.
